Villain versus Vylan

Somebody recommended an artist to me recently and I mentally scrawled the name down as "Bob Villain" 

It led me to this: 


There's a whole mini-LP of dirge-like, Scott Walker meets witch house, cover versions, including Lana's "Video Games" and Bowie's "Modern Love" (vastly improved)

However as I looked around for any info, an interview or something, I realised that the recommendation must have been for a phonetic namesake: Bob Vylan. Who ply a sort of grimepunk.
